“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” — Maya Angelou

I love a good chocolate fondue! This easy recipe is especially perfect if you’re still looking for a last-minute Valentine’s Day idea. I have the full recipe in the link in my bio. #chocolatefondue #fonduedechocolate #easyrecipes #valentinesideas #lastminutevalentinesideas #valentinesday
I think I want to start a whole series on all the delicious food I’ve tried on my travels that I still crave while I am at home. The Mexican Lime soup that I had in the Yucatan was calling to me and I needed to try to recreate some version of it. I am so happy with how this tortilla soup turned out. The extra lime flavor gives it the zing that I was craving. I have the full recipe on the blog in the link in my bio. #chickentortillasoup #tortillasoup #mexicanlimesoup #limesoup #easysoup #easyrecipes

Cheers and Happy Friday! I was craving pasta and an Aperol Spritz and since I couldn’t jet off to Italy, we headed to @eatalysiliconvalley instead. The Fettuccine Al Burro definitely hit the spot. Do you have a @eataly near you? #eataly #fridayvibes #aperolspritz #fettuccine #datenight
Gotta love the kitties!🐈⬛ I would’ve brought them all home if I could. ❤️ #greecetravel #greececats #italytravel #catsofinstagram #travelfun #greece #italy #wanderlust
I am unbelievably grateful for all the memories we’ve made so far. Hopefully, we have many more adventures ahead of us.
I am also grateful that we started our travels when our kids were younger because I’m learning that some things only get more complicated as they age. Now that our kids are both teens, schedules are more complex, travel becomes more expensive ( we’re practically paying for four adults now), and we get a bit more pushback on things than when they were younger. Traveling with teens comes with its own set of unique challenges. But if I’m being honest, the challenges are worth it. I have a new blog post about traveling with teens and some ways to ensure a successful and memorable trip—link in bio. #wanderlust #familytravel #europetravel #greecetravel #italytravel #hawaiitravel #costaricatravel #mexicotravel #usatravel #travelwithkids #travelwithteens
Who else is looking forward to spring and longer days? I can’t complain too much about the weather. It’s been pretty nice around here lately. Although, I would be a lot happier with an extra hour or so of sunlight each day. How about you? #readyforspring #disneylandresort
Greece definitely needs no trending audio. I was just thinking that six months ago today I was laying on the beaches of Naxos. Take me back! I’m currently trying to figure out where we are going this summer. I’m also starting to realize that Greece might be hard to beat. Have you started thinking about summer travels yet? I have our full 12-day Greece itinerary up on the blog now if you want to check it out. #greece #greecesummer #naxos #santorini #athens #travelgreece #familytravel #europeansummer #wanderlust
My ❤️ is with Los Angeles. LA was my home for nearly a decade, and I don’t think a day goes by when I don’t try to convince my husband to move back down there.
I’m absolutely heartbroken to see what the fires have done and are still doing to these communities. For the last few days I’ve been glued to the tv and social media watching these events unfold. I’ve also been trying to figure out ways to help in any way that I can. Here are just a couple of places that I found to donate to help victims, both big and small. I just thought I’d share just in case anyone else is wondering how they can help. I also put the direct links in my bio. ❤️ #losangeles

Just popping on to say hi. 👋 It’s been pretty uneventful around here and I really don’t have anything exciting to post about. So I just wanted to say hello and see how your first week of 2025 has been? #hello
Happy 2025! We decided to start the year off with a New Year’s Day hike. I don’t know about you, but I was more than ready to say goodbye to 2024; it was a challenging year to say the least. May 2025 bring us all good health, joy and prosperity! #happynewyear
