It’s amazing just how much you can see and do in a short amount of time. Our trips to London, both this year and last year were brief, but varied greatly.

Do you decorate for fall, Halloween, or both? I minimally decorate for fall each year because most of my decorations tend to be for Halloween. I’ve started getting down the Halloween decorations but I am waiting as long as I can before I rip off that bandaid, because once we do, we hemorrhage Halloween at our house. If you visit Ireland, do yourself a favor and book a stay at @mountjulietestate . It’s an Autograph Collection hotel by Marriott and is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we’ve ever stayed. It seriously felt like we stepped into an episode of Bridgerton. The grounds are breathtaking and there is so much to do for the entire family.

I’ve realized that I don’t romanticize my life as much as I used to when I was younger. That needs to change. Life is much more fun when you start romanticizing the little things.

I would love to be off traveling as much as social media makes it look like I am. I post the majority of my travel content at home in-between trips and “real” life. Santorini is just breathtaking . This particular view is from @218degreesoia restaurant in Oia. The food was so yummy, and the view so beautiful, that we ate there twice during our visit. Do you ever purchase the extra legroom? We had to fly this past weekend and I instantly regretted not getting the extra legroom. I bought it for the first time this summer on our long-haul flights to Europe with American Airlines, and honestly, it was worth every penny. We are a tall family, so I found that it’s worth spending a little extra to not have our knees mushed into the seats in front of us - especially on a long flight. Unfortunately, now I might be spoiled because I really missed that extra space on our flights this weekend. It took me a few trips, but I finally learned that it’s all about balance when traveling with kids. A simple thing like changing our priority from seeing things to doing things made a world of difference. We still saw a lot, but we did a lot more. I also want to point that out doing things doesn’t only mean planned activities. Doing things also includes activities like going to the beach, hiking, or even getting ice cream.
