Staying Blonde is Michelle Tucker, mother of two fantastic kids. Staying Blonde is where I share my journey. Learn from my wins and fails — hopefully, you can take advantage of the lessons I’ve learned, things I’ve figured out, and the bits of life I’ve untangled. Life is best when we lift each other up.

I truly did not expect this to reach over 22 million views. 🤯
I’ve loved reading through your comments and questions.
This is a Foucault Pendulum located inside the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. It demonstrates Earth’s rotation by maintaining its plane of motion while the Earth moves beneath it, which is why it slowly knocks the pins down over time. Each pin falls roughly every 30 - 40 minutes.
And for those wondering how it keeps swinging:
It’s kept in motion by a small electromagnetic drive that gently offsets friction and air resistance.
Science is freaking amazing.
More interesting finds, cool spots to visit, and fun things to do coming. #pendulum #foucault #scienceiscool #bayareablogger #californiaacademyofsciences

Tucked inside the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco is the stunning Osher Rainforest. It’s a four-story, indoor rainforest wrapped in a massive 90ft glass dome. And yes, it’s just as magical as it sounds.
We were all completely blown away. My daughter had visited years ago with the Girl Scouts, but it was the first time for the rest of us.
If you’re planning a trip to San Francisco, this Museum is absolutely worth adding to your list. It’s the kind of place that makes everyone, kids and adults alike, feel like they’ve stepped into something special. #californiaacademyofsciences #sanfranciscotravel #californiatravel #indoorrainforest #rainforest
The Skywalker Ranch General Store was such a fun little find up in San Francisco.
FYI: Be sure to grab a couple of the sea salt dark Chocolate bars. You can thank me later. #skywalkerranchgeneralstore #thepresidio #sanfrancisco #starwarsfan #bayareablogger
Why pay $9 for a single cable car ride when $15 gives you a full day of riding the rails around San Francisco?
Riding the cable cars is still one of our favorite things to do every time we’re in the city. The Muni 1-day pass lets you hop on and hop off, slow down, and really take your time soaking it all in.
There are three different cable car lines to choose from - the Powell–Hyde line (hello, incredible views), the Powell–Mason line, and the California Street line. You can see completely different parts of the city just by switching routes. It’s such an easy (and iconic) way to explore without worrying about parking or traffic.
Honestly? It’s the best and most iconic way to see San Francisco. #cablecar #sanfranciscotravel #familytravel #sanfrancisco #cablecarsanfrancisco
Do you have a view or a place that never gets old, no matter how many times you see it?
The Golden Gate Bridge is one of those for me.
Every single time it peeks out from behind a mountain or slips through the fog…I get just as excited as I did the very first time I saw it. Never gets old.
What’s that view or place for you? #goldengatebridge #beautifulviews #bayareablogger #travelwithkids
Here’s a tuk tuk tip: don’t forget to pack a speaker! We didn’t get a speaker until the last day of our trip and it was a total game changer. We both agreed that having a speaker would’ve made the entire trip even better. I mean, honestly, what’s a road trip without tunes?!
We couldn’t stop laughing when song came on, it seemed apropos in the moment. By the way, can you tell we were becoming feral by this part of the trip? 😂 #tuktuk #highwaytohell #roadtripping #srilankatravels #adventureiscalling
Pizza night just got even better!
I just tried my first order of Cheezee Garlic Rolls from @pizzaguysofficial , and I’m just saying, once you add these to your order, there’s no going back.
If you need a little excuse (like we ever do), use code ROLLDROP6 to get $2 off any Cheezee Garlic Rolls at checkout when you order from Pizza Guys now through March 31, 2026.
With over 100 locations across California, Nevada, and Texas, there’s probably a Pizza Guys near you… and if there is, consider this your sign.
Who’s adding the rolls to their cart tonight? #imapizzaguy #pizzaguys #pizzanight #dinnerideas
