When it comes to Christmas trees do you prefer real or fake?
Every year we head up to the Santa Cruz mountains to cut down our tree. It’s a fun tradition that we’ve done since the kids were little. Although now we do find ourselves discussing the option of maybe getting a fake tree next year. Has anyone ever went from real to fake and regretted it? Or do you love your fake tree? “If I could turn back time”
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I love when we change the clocks back! I love my extra hour of sleep, and I love that it’s finally daylight again when I get up in the morning.

Do you pay attention to the “best by” date on your canned and boxed goods?
I started going through my cupboard and noticed probably half of my canned and boxed goods were at least a year or two past the best-by date. Now, I looked it up online, and according to what I found, the food is pretty much good forever. The sites that I found explain that the food is just “best” if you use it by these dates. But I just don’t know! Do you toss it? Do you ignore it? What do you do? Just curious. Who else is just absolutely dragging this week? I am usually ready to dive right into decorating for the holiday season, but I may have to take a week or so before I start thinking about that this year. This having Halloween on a Tuesday is for the birds.
