If you’re going to use an essential oil diffuser, you might as well make it spooky. 👻
This is one of my favorite Halloween DIYs because it’s ridiculously simple, looks so good, AND makes the house smell amazing.
All you need: • Plastic cauldron • Poly-fil • Essential oil diffuser • Your favorite essential oils
Want to hide the cord? Drill a small hole in the bottom of the cauldron and run it through there.

When Spud got tossed into our lives, everyone told us not to worry because bulldogs are such chill dogs.
Yeah… he’s chill. When he’s sleeping. 😂
We knew absolutely nothing about bulldogs when Spud came into our lives, so I’m assuming this endless energy is just “puppy energy” and that eventually he’ll settle down a little.
Until then, we’ll just enjoy our little potato tornado and the daily chaos that comes with him. ❤️ #englishbulldogpuppy #englishbulldog #bulldogofinstagram #dogmomlife #bulldogpuppy
Comment “BOO” and I will send you the full supply list and instructions to our Halloween tunnel.
This is our 5th year creating our Halloween tunnel, and I have to admit, we haven’t got bored with it yet. Each year we try to create a new theme. We’ve just settled on this year’s theme and I’m so excited to reveal it soon.
I also have the blog post and supply list linked in my bio. #halloweendiy #halloweendecorations #halloweenideas #halloweentunnel #halloweenfun
Can I just be the niche? It would make things a whole lot easier.
Although, if I were forced to choose just one, it would probably be travel. But I don’t see us traveling full-time anytime soon. A girl can dream though, right?
Until then, I’ll keep sharing a little bit of everything I love around here… travel, family, food, DIYs, and, of course, Spud. What’s your favorite type of content? #aboutme #stayingblonde
Apple crisp just smells like September to me. 🍎🍂 Maybe it’s because we always have tons of apples this time of year, and this is one of those recipes I make every fall. It’s easy, delicious, and makes the entire house smell SO good.
Topping • ¾ cup packed brown sugar • ½ cup flour • ½ cup oats • ¾ tsp cinnamon • ¾ tsp nutmeg • ⅓ cup butter, softened
How to make it: • Toss the apples with cinnamon and lemon juice, then add them to a greased baking dish. • Mix together the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg. • Add the softened butter and use a pastry cutter, or just your hands, to mix until you have coarse crumbs. • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples. • Bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the topping is golden brown.
That’s it! Super simple and absolutely delicious… especially warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 😋
Comment APPLE and I’ll send you the full recipe, or you can find it at the link in my bio.
What do you think? I haven’t gotten a new purse in SO long, and I’m really loving this one by @goodtotes . It holds so much, which I already know is going to make it perfect for travel too.
Comment “BAG” and I’ll send you the link! You can also find it linked in my bio.
Spud pretty much chases anything that moves… including bees. And the poor baby learned the hard way this weekend when he got stung. 😭
So, we’re trying to redirect that bulldog energy toward bubbles instead. So far, so good. Because I’d really rather not add another ER visit to Spud’s growing list of adventures. And before anyone ask, yes, they’re nontoxic. I even linked them in my bio. #englishbulldogpuppy #bulldogpuppy #dogandbubbles #dogmomlife #wholesome
When you have more fresh tomatoes than you know what to do with… make this fresh pomodoro sauce. 🍅
This is one of my favorite summer recipes and maybe my all-time favorite pasta recipe. It’s simple, fresh, and SO good.
All you need is: 🍅 Fresh tomatoes 🧄 Garlic 🫒 Olive oil 🌿 Fresh basil Salt + pepper Red pepper flakes
I love tossing it with angel hair pasta and finishing it with Parmesan. I don’t cook the tomatoes down too much because I like the sauce fresh and a little chunky, but if you prefer it smoother, just let it simmer a little longer.
Seriously, it’s the perfect light summer pasta.
Comment SAUCE and I’ll DM you the recipe! You can also find the link in my bio. #pomodoro #tomatosauce #easyrecipe #freshpastasauce #pastasauce
I don’t share clothes too often, but when I find something I really love, I have to share it!
This skirt is technically high-waisted, but the ruching makes it really easy to adjust and wear it wherever it feels most comfortable. And it’s SO flattering. Oh, and I want to mention that the red color is currently on sale.
Comment SKIRT and I’ll DM you the link, or you can find it through the link in my bio.
If you’re headed to Japan during the summertime, save this post!
Summer in Japan is HOT and humid, and after 11 days traveling through Tokyo and Kyoto, I definitely learned a few things about what to pack… and what not to pack.
I put my full summer packing list on the blog, complete with a FREE printable packing checklist. Comment JAPAN and I’ll send you the link! I also have the link in my bio.
Can you tell I love making these packing lists? 😂 Where should I do next?
For me, it’s Japan. 🇯🇵 We seriously didn’t have one bad meal the entire time we were there. Everything was SO good and so fresh.
Can you tell I’m both hungry, and have Japan on my mind? 😂 I’m working on a couple of new Japan blog posts right now, packed with tips and tricks, and going through all our old photos has me craving the food all over again.
In the meantime, our full 11-day Japan itinerary is already up on the blog, including where we stayed, what we did, and some of our favorite places we ate. Link in bio. #japanfood #japantravels #familytravel #japaneats #favoritefood
