One of our favorite Christmas shows to watch each year is “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” I love that it’s the simple story of a child trying find the deeper meaning of Christmas while being surrounded by the influx of commercialism. It isn’t lost on me that going out and buying this little Peanut’s tree pretty goes against everything the story is about, but when I saw it, it touched my heart, and I had to have one. Our little tree is now one of our kid’s favorite Christmas decorations. It sits in the middle of our table and reminds us that happiness sometimes comes from the simplest of things.
