Las Vegas
Las Vegas is teeming with activities and attractions, and while this may be thrilling, it can also be somewhat overwhelming. In this ever-awake city, it’s all too easy to feel pressed to stay on the move. This is why, during my recent Las Vegas girls’ trip, we intentionally chose only a handful of activities that we were truly excited about, ensuring we also had time for relaxation or a push on the slots.
Here are four standout Las Vegas girls’ trip activities we embarked on, plus one we wish we had included on our latest Vegas journey.

1. Experience a Show

What’s a Las Vegas girls’ trip without a show? Our trip was indeed centered around this activity. We coordinated our visit to secure our seats for the Madonna show in Las Vegas. However, even without these tickets, a visit to a show would have been on our list. Vegas is acclaimed for its globally recognized shows, making it a loss not to catch one.

Our past favorites and top recommendations include Cirque du Soleil: The Beatles Love, Absinthe, and Cirque du Soleil: Mystere.

2. Dine at Battista’s Hole in the Wall

Battista’s holds the title of my top culinary spot in all of Las Vegas. I faithfully dine here every time I visit. Though Battista’s Hole in the Wall has been around since 1970, making it the fifth oldest-running restaurant in Vegas, it certainly has retained its charm. It’s an inviting Italian-style eatery offering mainstay Italian dishes, accompanied by soup, salad, garlic bread, cappuccino, and unlimited house wine.  You can find Battista’s tucked tucked away right behind the Flamingo.

3. Create Your Own Lipstick

This trip, we ventured into new territory: we created our bespoke lipsticks at Lip Lab. Collaborating with our color specialist to formulate the idyllic lipstick, lipgloss and lip balm shades, was a blast. The entire process takes roughly an hour, with another hour to manufacture the actual lipstick. Although we each intended to purchase just one, we exited with a trio! Lip Lab is situated in the Fashion Show Mall adjacent to Treasure Island.

4. Visit the Princess Diana & the Royals Exhibition

Royal enthusiasts will adore this exhibit. It’s a gracefully crafted display that immerses you into the grand narrative of Princess Diana and the Royal Family. It houses an extensive public collection of Diana’s evening gowns, including an impeccable replica of her famous wedding dress. The admission fee includes an audio tour, guiding you through the stories behind each artifact.

5. Reserve a Pool Day

Sadly, due to the cold weather, we had to skip our pool day for this trip. Whenever we visit Las Vegas, we usually relish in the luxury resort pools. It’s the ideal setting to unwind, enjoy a cocktail, and bask in the desert sun. We missed out this time, but it’s certainly on our list for our next Vegas trip.

Where we stayed & Why we liked it

Our unforgettable girl’s trip to Las Vegas was perfectly completed by a stay at the fabulous Park MGM. This hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the Strip, directly across from the T-Mobile arena where we enjoyed the infectious energy of a Madonna concert.
One other thing that drew us to Park MGM was its policy as a non-smoking casino. This makes the entire building feel and smell incredibly fresh and clean.
But that’s not all – the hotel also conveniently houses Eataly, a haven for Italian food lovers. Whether you desire a meal, want to purchase incredible Italian products, or crave a late-night gelato, Eataly won’t disappoint.

In a city as bustling as Las Vegas, it’s easy to fall into the trap of trying to do too much. We focused on a select few standout activities, enhancing our trip’s enjoyment without the stress of running from one attraction to another. Certain experiences like the luxury resort pools had to be missed out due to the cold weather, but there’s always the next visit to look forward to.
