You just can’t get that nostalgic glow from LEDs. This year, I finally broke down and bought colorful incandescent lights to give my tree that warm, cozy glow I remember from childhood. Although, we did use a twinkling strand of LEDs as well to give it that extra pizzazz. (My husband and kids like twinkle)
I know it may not be the most aesthetic, Instagram-perfect tree, but it’s full of warmth, color, and memories, and that’s all that matters.

We recently checked out the newly renovated Hilton Anaheim, and it exceeded every expectation. It’s officially one of our new favorite places to stay when visiting Disneyland. The walk to the parks is slightly longer than what we’re used to, but we barely noticed. Coming back to such a comfortable, refreshed room made all the difference. Do you remember these decorations? I think they were called melted popcorn decorations if I am not mistaken. I actually saw this one hanging as a decoration in Disney’s California Adventure. Honestly, I probably would’ve bought one if they had one for sale. 😂 🕯️

I wasn’t feeling a birthday photo yesterday, so I searched my camera roll for something that truly captures 51… and found this. Me and my favorite portable massager, tackling my stiff neck, sore muscles, and all the other “fun” surprises your body gives you in your 50s.
