Next stop ➡️ Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
In just over a week, I’m heading off on another adventure - this time solo (no kids, no hubby, just me and a very long flight ✈️ ). I’ll be meeting up with @largeminority to take part in their Sri Lanka Tuk Tuk Adventure- a wild, off the beaten path journey across Sri Lanka in a tuk tuk! Oh, and guess who will be driving the tuk tuk!?! 🛺🙋🏼♀️🙈
I am beyond excited for this opportunity to explore a new country, dive into the culture, and push myself outside my comfort zone. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also a little nervous-traveling solo always comes with its fair share of butterflies.
Either way, I know this is going to be one of those once-in-a-lifetime trips, and I can’t wait to take you along for the ride. 🌍💛

As you may have guessed, this year’s Halloween tunnel is going to be Día de los Muertos / Coco themed! It might not be as spooky as past years, but it will definitely be festive and fun. Huge shoutout to @TreehouseThreads for always sharing the best Dollar Tree finds - her creative Dollar Tree/ DIY posts totally inspired me to raid my local Dollar Tree and stock up on skulls and flowers- saved me so much $$!!

I was going to post a pretty picture from Japan or some other far-off place, but the reality is…I’m home this weekend, and I managed to throw out my back. 😩 I’m also just feeling off with a splitting headache and can’t quite tell what is causing it. It could be side effects from a recent vaccine, my doctor upping a medication dose, perimenopause knocking on the door, just being a crabby, or oh yeah, triple-digit heat. 🥵

I’m getting vaccinated for an upcoming travel opportunity, and I can hardly wait to share the details with you. This one is extra special - I’ve been invited on an adventure of a lifetime!
Here’s the twist: it’s just me this time. No hubby, no kids. And while I’m a little anxious about leaving my crew behind, I know this trip is going to pull me out of my comfort zone, and immerse me into a part of the world I’ve yet to experience.
